55Very quiet and private. Well maintained, clean, and lots of space! The instructions were a little confusing but once you arrive it is very obvious where to go and walk. We didn’t walk the whole perimeter but the cleared field was plenty of space to play fetch. We have reactive dogs and it’s always stressful trying a new space but there were no animals or people thankfully. We could hear a little bit of people talking behind the fence where the townhouses are but it didn’t trigger our dogs. Yay! We will definitely be back! Meagan K.

55We went later at night and Kimberly was super accommodating! Our dog, Mac, loved having the freedom to run around and explore. The trail was easy to follow and made a great walk and sniffing trail for our dog! We caught the tail end of the sunset, but we’ll definitely be back soon to explore during the day. Karm G.

55Cooper and Maizie had such a great time here! They ran their little hearts out! Property is beautiful, it feels like it goes on forever, we didn’t even make it around the whole perimeter. There was fresh water left out for them in the one area and chairs to sit on as well. This is such a great sniff spot. Will definitely be back. Michelle S.

55Such a lovely spot! So much space to explore! Lovely shaded trails! Tons of water left for the pups - which was much needed! Amazing communication, and such a lovely owner. We added an extra 30 minutes to our hour just so we could take our time coming back. We are excited to come back soon and explore even more! Joanne O.

55This was our 3rd t8me visiting. The first time was on a weekend. At first I missed the gate. Google maps actually brought me to the driveway of the townhouse complex next door. But I figured it out after driving by again 😅
I parked by the trailers and at first my dog headed away from the house but realized when I saw the farm workers that we were heading towards the crop fields so went back towards the house.
Past the house & willow tree was lawn chairs, buckets of water with dog bowl, trash cans. And a huge open field.
We made our way up the hill. The ground is uneven like mentioned by others and there's a small hole near the base of the hill so be careful.
Trees offered wonderful shade on a hot day. The property is huge. We didn't see anyone while we walked along the trail. Lots of trees, bushes, plants for dogs to sniff at and an easy enough trail to follow. We heard maybe 1 dog in the distance but otherwise didn't see or hear any other dogs. I didn't have to worry about my dogs at all.
The space was clean too.
It was a great experience.Mary R.

55It was an another wonderful visit. This time we booked 2 hours to explore entire property without rushing to make it in time to leave. We enjoyed so much in field, farm land trail and tree trails. We really appreciate 2 buckets of clean water with cups that we fill the dog water bowl rather sharing same water with other guest dogs. That was a great idea. Just King RD and McKenzie Rd sides, there was a pedestrian walking his dog. It is separated by trees but visible. Rio was just about to run off to confront with that dog. Luckily he was able to hear me and came back to me. So now just for that side of property, I need to leash him or I can just avoid that. So much path that I can chose and so secured. I clear see the host is working hard to make the trails and paths very clear and easier for us to walk on. HIROKO T.

55This place is huge! We got there a few minutes early and the host let us know it was okay to go in as no one was there. Walking the entire perimeter takes time. We didn’t get to walk the entire property as the hour was running out. Book two hours to give yourself plenty of time to explore and get back. There were some trash buckets, chairs and toys at the entrance. My pup is more into chasing animals than running after toys but she had fun rolling in the grass and being off leash. Bring a hat and some water if you’re walking the fields on a hot day. Though there is some shade if you walk the treeline in the middle. Sharise H.

55We had a very relaxing and good time. The host, Kimberly is so communicative and welcoming. She gave up heads up that somebody was at their property to pick plums. But they left before we arrived. We were offered plums from her tree as well. HIROKO T.

55This is an amazing spot! Very quiet and tranquility right in town. It’s close to the highway exist. Easy to find even though Google Map sent us to the townhouse community right next to it. The entrance and parking area are very clear and well maintained. The owner is responsive and very kind. Her responses were prompt, detailed and friendly. It was so kind of her to leave towels to dry off our wet and dirty pups after the walk!
The property is vast and peaceful. There’s a huge flat field behind (or next to?) the house for the dogs to run around and play. It’s HUGE! After that, we took the trail to walk around the property. Most of it is flat and very easy walk. The rest is gentle rolling hills, nothing strenuous at all. The only thing we had to watch out for was the occasional overhanging blackberry branches. I’d suggest hardy, protective shoes like hiking shoes/boots if you plan to hike deep into the property. It was raining quite hard when we were there. Even with all the rain there wasn’t any puddles on the trail. It’s pumpkin season so most of the land is pumpkin farm. Our Golden Retriever is very adventurous and food-crazed but there’s so much to explore he completely ignored the pumpkins far away. The last part of the trail is not cleared so we had to turn around and walked back the same way. It took us 1 hour and 45 minutes to very casually walk 3/4 of the perimeter and back.
This spot is absolutely perfect for spirited dogs and humans looking for a nice peaceful walk in a beautiful country setting. You can also just stay near the big field to let your dogs play and run around. No special footwear needed if you and your dogs hang around that area.
The property isn’t fully fenced but it’s so vast and well defined by shrubs and bushes that most dogs will likely stay within the perimeter. There are only one or two small openings near the trail that you have to pay attention so your dogs don’t run out, e.g. a gate with a big gap. Our dog is very adventurous but even he didn’t bother to cross the threshold. If your dogs have the tendency to run away forever without turning back, however, you might have to consider putting a long leash on. The place is so big you could spend all afternoon looking for them!
We didn’t hear any city noise, dogs, or people while we were there, only some roosters in the neighbouring farm (I think.)
I’d like to suggest whoever visit this beautiful spot to pick up after your dogs if they happen to do their business on the trail. This place is so big you can’t expect the owner to check the trail all the time for dog poops. It’s just not possible.
We live an hour away but we enjoyed our time here so much we’d love to come back if we get the chance! Thank you, Kimberly and your family, for sharing your amazing property with us. It is a small piece of paradise for reactive dogs and their owners who have to face fear and judgements whenever they walk out the door. You don’t know how much it means to them. ❤️

FAQ about our Deming dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
How do I know if a dog hiking trail works for my dog?
Sniffspot provides the tools to find the ideal spot. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing 6 feet tall and distractions, to find a dog park with trails that works for your dog. You can also filter by size if you are looking for a certain acre park, an expansive off-leash dog park. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog hiking trails. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog hiking trails where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails. You can also browse by specific amenities, if you are looking for a view or a beach, for instance, or other activities or fun features. You can check whether the spot has off or on street parking, the regular park hours, whether it has paved trails or a modern restroom.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
How much do Sniffspot hiking trails cost?
Dog hiking trails in the Deming area range from $6.0 and $6.0. The least expensive dog hiking trail is Place to run your dog. The most expensive dog hiking trail is Place to run your dog. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
