Camp Dilly Dally Doggie Park In Buckley

Partially Fenced
5 acres

We offer five acres of partially mowed fields and a natural wooded area. There is a small pond and access to South Prairie Creek. The creek has a variable current, so it may be best for larger dogs. The pond would be ideal for smaller dogs who aren't strong swimmers. Trails began as deer/elk trails but have been improved. There are some small logs and rocks here and there to step over so sturdy shoes are recommended. The leaves that cover the trails in the fall may be a little slippery, so take care.

Magical Mossy Forest

Unfenced
5 acres

Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. Please visit our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555379018442 Let us know if you have any questions. Synchronized play bowing to you!

124 Acre Conservation Farm Trails Fields Fun

Unfenced
124 acres

Follow our FB page for open days. Farm store now open! Swing in before your appointment and grab some retro sodas, dog beer (YES I SAID DOG BEER!), artisan smores kits and so much more! CASHLESS sales at the store please. Malaney Creek Farm is a 124 acre conservation farm comprised of fields, forest and wetlands. 3+ miles of private trails, open grassy fields. Trails are marked to keep you pointed in the right direction. Picnic tables, covered areas to duck out of the weather and portable restroom with hand sanitizer. Your sniffspot staging area is located in what we call our "Cascara" campsite. Covered picnic table, adirondack chairs, firepit and a big green grassy field. This spot is a central location near the portable restroom, easy drive in access, and a base location for exploring the trail network. Our trail system has been a labor of love. We enjoy providing unique experiences and highlighting the natural beauty of the forest and wetlands on the property. Once home to giant cedar trees the property was purchased by the Great Northern Railway in the late 1800's. A railroad system was built here and the giant cedars logged and milled onsite. You wouldn't be able to tell that now as the forest is doing a wonderful job of repairing itself. We do have a few artifacts scattered about that have been found that you will see on your walks. A large concrete trestle base, railway beams, rail spikes and misc metal items from the trains and equipment. Most of our trails accommodate hiking and mountain bikes (yes E-bikes are allowed ;), however the hiking only trails are really evolving. Our new wetlands trail is a quick link between Casacara and the Beargrass island trail. It is foot traffic only and features hand hewn cedar bridges made from cedar logs left behind by the logging operation over 100 years ago! Log rounds to hop across wet areas and places to stop and soak in the quiet. There is a diverse landscape of rare native plants on this hike and foraging opportunities abound! Fiddle head ferns, chicken of the woods and more! Our most prized flora is a large patch of Labrador Tea. A very rare species of plant related to the rhododendron that native american peoples used as a medicinal healing tea. So come out and explore! Bring appropriate footwear, your furry hiking buddies, a bottled water, and a camera. We look forward to hosting you! PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN THE 2 HOUR WINDOW BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. WE BLOCK OUT ALL DAY BOOKINGS FOR SNIFFSPOT APPOINTMENTS. Check out our website, insta and FB page for more photos too! Happy Sniffing!!l

Woodland Tranquility Pathways - find solitude!

Partially Fenced
5 acres

Off-grid Sniffspot location in rural Snohomish Washington! You will have the entire 5-acre property to yourself to enjoy! This part of our property is only used for Sniffspot guests. Would be perfect for those that don’t want to interact with others (i.e. cars driving by, strangers, the neighbors... ‘chatty hosts/property owners’😉). Safe place for adventurous individuals that prefer to explore alone with their doggo(s), a doggie daycare retreat, a memorable late evening of star-gazing, or a safe place for a highly reactive dog to have fun. Details: 5 acres, off-grid experience (no power or running water) with it’s own private entrance. Two grassy sloping yard areas with “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill. Secluded, native woodland with mowed grass. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens. During your visit, feel free to pick blueberries, wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse could happen before we can arrange for it to be replaced.

Marked trails, and they will give you a map of the different trails. There's a great place for your dog to take a swim. Peaceful and beautiful. My boys love it and so do I!!!

55One of our top 3 favorite sniffspots. The dogs enjoyed the creek and the map of trails was helpful. You really can not get lost as there are the cutest signs letting you know where you are. Lots of small bridges and benches for you to enjoy. My dogs had the zoomies they were so happy running all around the trails. We will definitely be back!

55First, you meet your awesome host. Second, he escorts you with your dogs on leash through the pasture, which may include bunnies, chickens, goats, wild turkeys, and two very mellow Scottish Highland cattle. Then you are “set free” in the flat grassy area which borders Coal Creek. After that, there are wooded trails up the hill, if you choose to climb. I love this place and only wish I could get there more often. (Note to self, make a point of it.) Steph and John are genuinely happy to welcome people and dogs.

55It's no surprise that the glowing reviews brought me here, and now I find myself wholeheartedly agreeing with them! I'm left wondering about the little things like how they keep the grass so perfectly trimmed in this vast place. Do the goats have a part in that? Speaking of goats, we spotted one wagging its tail at my dog! I hope that means the same thing in 'goat language.' Beyond my musings, what can I add? The dogs had a blast swimming and running. This spot is just pure fun, and we'll definitely be returning.

55A M A Z I N G ! ! ! This was the best Sniffspot we’ve been to by far. John was very welcoming and showed us the ropes. He understood we had two very young and spastic golden retrievers lol. His wife Stephanie was very sweet as well. The property itself feels massive. What a treat to walk through a pasture full of farm animals (on leash or course) to get to the Sniffspot. There are ample trails, mixed terrain and the most beautiful flowing stream. We have a 1 yr old golden retriever, Levi, and a 5-month old golden retriever, Oakley. Oakley lived for the water! She swam for the first time, too. Levi was able to practice his swimming skills, too. There are little holes deep enough for safe dog swimming though I’m sure the stream changes through the year. What a magical place. The dogs loved watching the farm animals, too. So many new experiences for them and we’re so thankful to have been able to enjoy your slice of heaven. We will definitely be back to explore what we didn’t have time for! Both dogs were knocked out on the way home, very unusual for Levi :)

When the pups need to burn off some energy and we want to enjoy some time in the woods without worry of other people or dogs, this is our go to. Can't recommend this spot enough :)

55What a wonderful experience! John was great and my dog loved him, he helped us settle in, get to know the property. and even provided a cute map. Lots of fun animals that were so curious and comfortable with my pup. This is the perfect place for him to explore and he had the best time. Can’t wait to visit the farm again!

55Great place. Lots of trails to run and creeks to splash in. There was a family with kids and off leash dogs on the other side of the big down tree at the end of the creek.

55My jaw dropped when we pulled into this place. The property is gorgeous and they really went all out on another level. John was nice enough to give us a little tour before we ventured off with the map he gave us and there’s plenty of adorable signs so it’s easy to follow along. The stream/river was so clear compared to other places we’ve been. My dogs couldn’t get enough of this place! We also met Stephanie on our way out and she was wonderful. *Caution* Little mishap on OUR part but figured I’d mention it so other people can be hyper aware: Although the river seemed shallow today there’s a slight drop off that John did warn us about- our little dogs ball ended up floating down into that small cove under the trees so she zoned in and couldn’t get out on her own. My boyfriend jumped in to pull her out but you can say we’ll be leaving our phones in the car next time! Haha. This absolutely won’t deter us from coming back just lesson learned and wanted to pass along the info! Thank you again John and Stephanie your place is a dreamland for dogs❤️

55OMG .. Chose this space based on prior sniffer reviews and it did not disappoint!! This property is AMAZING! Not sure who enjoyed it more … me or my ‘lil sniffer! 😆 We booked 1.5 hours but could have stayed much longer. There are lots of little trails that are all well marked which makes it easy to follow the map. The creek was just the right depth today so Nacho could chase his stick and even get the zoomies in the water. The field was just long enough to do a little ball chasing before we left. And Molly. She was just so curious about Nacho and he didn’t understand … he thought he’d made a new friend to run the fence line with. 😆 This is a place I could rent for hours or even the day just to have all to ourselves. We will definitely be back!

55Second time visiting. It’s always such a fun time for me and the dogs. I tracked at least 1+ miles of just walking on the trails without repeating. That’s probably my favorite thing about this spot since it’s much more fun for my dogs. However, if you need an open space to just play fetch there’s that as well. There’s also a nice big creek where my dog loves to (kinda) swim in. So we get all these great activities in just one spot. Definitely recommend, well worth it.

FAQ about our Kent dog hiking trails

Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
How can I find dog hiking trails in Kent?
There are 16 dog hiking trails in the Kent area. The most popular dog hiking trail is Gina's 24 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Bonney Lake. You can browse all of our dog hiking trails here.
How do I know if a dog hiking trail works for my dog?
Sniffspot provides the tools to find the ideal spot. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing 6 feet tall and distractions, to find a dog park with trails that works for your dog. You can also filter by size if you are looking for a certain acre park, an expansive off-leash dog park. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog hiking trails. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog hiking trails where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails. You can also browse by specific amenities, if you are looking for a view or a beach, for instance, or other activities or fun features. You can check whether the spot has off or on street parking, the regular park hours, whether it has paved trails or a modern restroom.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
How much do Sniffspot hiking trails cost?
Dog hiking trails in the Kent area range from $10.0 and $25.0. The least expensive dog hiking trail is Wide Open Spaces at The Holler. The most expensive dog hiking trail is Tripper's Creekside Fenced Park 5.9Acre RAIN SHELTER & FULL LIGHTS for After Dark Water Training Obstacles Picnic Table Chairs. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
