55Such an amazing experience! We did 2 hours at the creek and it was perfect! I could have stayed there all day. Just a heads up to owners with dogs who have a high prey drive, we did see a coyote on the trail - but it immediately darted off and we didn’t see it again! Thank you David and Alma for letting our reactive stress ball of a dog have some relaxation and freedom!!! So fun seeing him so carefree :) I think if our dog wanted to run away and escape he could have - it was hard to tell if it was really fully fenced! Dakota R.

55Atlas had a great time at the sniffspot today! Instructions were clear, I found the spot easily, and the parking/entrance were clearly marked. The hike down was a breeze and Atlas enjoyed smelling along the tree line. It is a little steep at some points but going slow, we made it down with no issues. The sitting area and creek were clean and beautiful. My cell service was limited but I liked it that way. Atlas ran around for a couple of hours and tired himself out, swimming and smelling and digging.
It is important for your pup to stay in the clearing/cleared area- there are some burrs if they run off-trail, which my dog did briefly in his excitement. The burrs came off easily with no harm done, and are a normal/natural part of the landscape- they are my fault for my dog running off the hiking area. Just information for any future visitors to be careful of that. We will be back soon, I hope! I’ve never seen him feel so free and run so much in my life. It was a great day. Erin L.

It was pretty warm in the afternoon, so it was nice to be able to dip into the creek a couple times to keep these busy dogs cool. We were also kept cool by the nice amount of shade.

Although our dogs are very well behaved they are guardian breeds whoare not super fond of other dogs and can get protective around strangers so having a safe stress free place to let them be off leash and run is amazing! 55Harley and I loved this location. The hike can be a little steep but very do-able. The stream was fierce today but we had plenty to do around the property.
