Visit and location as described. My dogs had a wonderful time. Lots of places to sniff. My plan was to take them there for off leash training but they enjoyed exploring so much that I just observed. Puppy tried the pond…it is not as graduated as the lake (there is a bit of a drop). For majority of water loving dogs not a problem but my guy was a bit hesitant of the step down at first. We got home to try it out anyway. Host left towels out for us which was a nice touch. We already had some with us so we didn’t use, at least this time! We would love to return.

What a great property!! My dogs normally keep an eye on me, but here, they were so busy having fun that they barely knew I was there. So many interesting things to smell, lots of sticks to chew on, and an awesome pond to walk around and swim in. It felt really safe - no cars driving by anywhere near the property. The host was great! She left towels out for us and was really flexible with our arrival time. We will definitely be back!

Super nice spot! It is pretty set back from the main road, so we felt comfortable having our dog (who has decent recall, but is still a teenager and sometimes unreliable) off leash. She loved exploring.

Kylo loved running through all the trails, sniffing, and splashing around in the water leading into the lake. Marcy was super communicative, and even went above and beyond to let us stay longer because we showed up later than expected. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Absolutely beautiful property with so much to explore. Marcy was a pleasure and quick to communicate with plus we appreciated the fresh water bowl, dry towels, trash bag for poop, and seating area near the pond. The large pond was dog #1's favorite and he had so much fun splashing and swimming nearly the whole time we visited. Dog #2 enjoyed sniffing everything and evey where from the wooded areas, the open field, to around the pond. The property is mostly fenced minus on either side of the house and past the wooded area by the canal but it was easy to keep dog #2 from running off since it was our first time together off leash in such a large space. Highly recommend this spot and we look forward to visiting again soon!!

We had a great time! The property is perfect as it has a wet and dry side! Our pup swam, ran in the field, and we had a blast just watching him be him. Appreciate the complimentary towels for drying Fin off before we hit the road. We’ll definitely be back, AND with more pup friends!🙏🏼🙏🏼🐕

Loved this spot, it was so quiet and peaceful! Winston enjoyed swimming in the pond and running around it at full Speed, along with climbing on the rocks. The owner kindly put out a couple of towels for us. Be aware it’s foxtail season so bring your Outfox Mask for Dogs if you want to explore the back field. Definitely visiting again, my dog visibly relaxed out there wandering around exploring.

Absolute Sniff Spot diamond! My girls had so much fun swimming, space to explore and run. Having seating for the humans and towels out to dry the dogs is so thoughtful. Highly recommend.

A beautiful backyard, and Marcy was very kind. We aren’t ready to be off leash yet, so we enjoyed exploring the property with a long line. Even though there was a beautiful pond and canal, my dog enjoyed climbing on the all the boulders the most lol. There was an adorable family of geese swimming in the pond that we enjoyed watching too. A relaxing way to end our day. Thank you Marcy

The pond was lovely for our water-loving dog. It was extra thoughtful that towels and fresh water and balls were provided. There were several ducks, geese and goslings which was really enjoyable to see for myself but I just had to be extra careful that my dogs kept their focus on me and their sticks so we didn't bother them. Of course, that is to be expected when visiting a pond! There is a cattle fence in the rear of the property that I could see dogs getting through if they had enough motivation to do so. A great spot to bring a dog that is not an escape artist or has good recall. We really appreciate you sharing your property with us!

Great spot for dogs that don’t run off and nice for humans too. My 2 mini-Aussies loved it, took several dips in the large pond and ran around it multiple times, sniffing and exploring. After 35 minutes a neighbor’s dog starting barking so we left before mine got curious enough to find out where it was. There are areas where dogs can easily slip through to neighboring property. It was still worth the cost to visit this great property.

I'm so thankful you guys are generous enough to share this great space with total strangers. My dogs love the water but it's always stressful taking them to public lakes/parks/rivers and knowing our trips might be cut short if other dogs come along. This place was amazing to give them the freedom they want to run around and play while letting us have our guard down a little bit knowing we wont be interrupted. Already ready to book our next play date. There is one neighbor dog but he's so far away my dogs barely paid him any attention (literally a pond, a fence, a field, and another fence to separate them). There were some geese and ducks that caught my dogs attention but they also stayed on their side of the pond while my dogs stayed on ours so it wasnt an issue even with my dogs being herders/hunting dogs. The fence isn't complete but my dogs are always so focused on what we're doing and playing in the water that they never wander too far. We had a blast and will be coming back.
