Such a cute little backyard! Plenty of shade for both people and pups! The young lady who runs the spot also makes dog treats and cakes! She made one for us! I volunteer for ARE Rescue and I took one of our rescue pups for a day out. The yard was perfect for a little fetch, some fun with the hose, and a yummy doggie cake! This Sniffspot was so perfect for my reactive dog. I had great communication with the host ahead of our arrival and once we arrived, the space was clean, spacious, and quiet. There is plenty of shade to escape from the sun and a hose available to play in the water. My pup loved chasing her ball and laying on the grass. The host even came out to greet us and brought my dog a box of homemade treats! That was a such a special touch. My dog devoured the treats in seconds so safe to say she loved them. My dog is super cautious around strangers but she cozied right up to the host, who obviously cares a lot about animals. It was a great experience, and we will be back soon!

This was our second visit and it was just as fun as the first! Bonny loved sniffing all the smells, exploring the spot and chasing her ball for almost the entire hour. We had so much fun that time flew by! The host keeps the spot clean, tidy and well maintained. I also appreciate that the host understands reactive dogs. We love visiting this Sniffspot and look forward to our next visit 🥰 🎾 🐶

This is a simple spot. We needed an open area for Pal to run and play fetch in, this spot worked out nicely. There was a water hose, available trash cans, and patio furniture with shade. Pal is a large shepherd mix who is currently available for adoption at ARE Animal Rescue. He had a great time getting out of his kennel for an hour and enjoying some space. The wood entry/exit gate needs some work as it can get stuck. This place is affordable and simple, it fit our needs. We will probably bring more of our rescue dogs here to get some much needed time out of the kennels.

Beautiful spot. Will come back! Wear good shoes because the backyard is a hill, steep, and all dirt. Not recommended for those with limited mobility.

Our pups had so much fun!! There were water bowls and toys available, and the space was so fun for them to explore. They loved climbing the rocks, sniffing all the plants and sprinting around. We’ll be back!

We always have a great time here. I love seeing the steady improvements that Katie makes to her beautiful yard. My dogs get such good exercise running up and down the hill. The views are fantastic!

We had a great time here. My dog enjoys getting up on rocks, so it was fun for her and she had plenty of room to sniff and explore. The host was communicative and helpful and the spot was pretty clean (a couple of leftover poops, but it’s a big spot so I totally get that it could be easy to miss). Most of this info the host provided, but in case this info might be helpful to people with reactive dogs who rent SniffSpots to avoid other people/dogs, here it is: Dogs: Heard a dog/s barking from inside twice. On the way out it seemed like the dog was closer/outside (possibly in a deck?) when the dog was barking which made me a little nervous. My dog does fine with other dogs, but I know a lot of dogs who go to SSs wouldn’t do well with that. Other Animals: No other animals visible or audible except lots of little lizards :) People: The fencing is secure, but see-through, so it was easy to see the neighbor doing gardening/yard work virtually the whole time. I wanted to share this bc I know this could really affect some dogs’ ability to enjoy the spot. Fencing: Seemed super secure, didn’t notice any gaps that were relevant to my dog’s size

What a great place! So many extra enrichment activities. Our dogs particularly enjoyed the stick “library” and the treat puzzle station. The yard was very tidy, and there were plenty of shady spaces for our pups to cool off on a warm day. We’ll definitely be back!

Axel wears a fi collar (fit bit for dogs) he got 12k steps in an hr. He’s very skittish dog with noises, new things and people/dogs. He was himself and happy as can be.

We had a great first experience with SniffSpot! This location was ideal, the directions were clear, the location is depicted correctly, and there are extra surprises on arrival. We moved to SD from the South where we had a large house and yard. Our very active dogs are not used to our tiny condo and we are so pleased with not only the service but this specific spot as well. The tennis balls, the stick library, optional dog grooming, etc… was perfect. Thank god for the hill to really wear down our German Shepherd. My only comment to other visitors is don’t be like us and go right after a leg day workout ;) The steps in and out are steep but totally fine if we had not just killed a leg day. We will definitely be back!!!!

This is the best sniff spot!! There is a ton of running space, variety of toys, and a few nicely shaded areas. We brought the dog we were sitting but would love to be back with our own pup. We could hear another dog barking nearby but I didn’t see where it was, so be aware if your dog is reactive to that.
