We had another wonderful, peaceful and tiring time at Homesteaders! Even my two Heelers were resting in some shade half way thru our time. There is so much room for them to run and explore. I also really love the abundant fresh clean water Jack & Gayle provide that is easy to go back to for drinks for the pups.

The dogs had such a great time exploring and running the trails. Gayle and Jack were sweet to keep us updated on road conditions before our visits. Love the little treat and water station before you head back to the trails!

So wonderful! Clearly marked trails with water and even treats at the trailhead. Great spot to work on long lead recall in a safe environment with lots of smells! Heard distant gunshots as the description says but our dog didn’t even notice. Cant wait to come back in the warmer days for a longer time and maybe even bring a picnic! :)

We loved this beautiful spot and so did our puppy! It was well worth the drive up to Arlington. They have thought of everything - great signs, maps, poop bags, and even treats! We’ll be back.

What a delight! Extremely well groomed trails, and w snow on the ground right now it was a little winter wonderland! There are chairs and benches throughout which is great if you also bring your human kids and they need a snack break every 28 steps 😉

This was such a wonderful experience, especially in the snow!!! Rusko, my husband, and I all had such a great time. We’re all exhausted. :) Gayle and Jack have put in so much thought into the Homestead—we loved the signage (both for the trails and the trees on the property), benches, and all of the amenities for the dogs! The trails and views were wonderful and beautiful. My husband and I found ourselves marveling at the property while Rusko explored. We look forward to seeing the Homestead throughout the different seasons!

Winter wonderland! They weren't kidding when they said they still had snow. My dog loved romping around in it. Definitely wear boots and be prepared to walk in some decently deep snow. Can't wait to come back and see this place in the spring.

We had a wonderful time as always. Lots of shooting around the property so my noise sensitive dog spent time in the car but my other dog was zooming and playing fetch. There was snow in spots which was a real treat. The dogs had a treat for the ride home.

This was a wonderful piece of land to be able to let our boy wander around and smell all the new smells. You can hear gun shots from Green Mountain but it was a beautiful day and Gayle had let us know beforehand so we were well aware. It did not seem to phase our dog at all. The trails were marked with cute signs and there was a wonderful little nook that had treats after we were done wandering. Gayle and Jack were very communicative thought of everything and it very much showed through their sweet touches in making sure you and your fur babies had a good time.

Such a great place to walk in the woods, play ball in the open areas and sniff all the smells. Trails weren’t muddy which is always nice. Great water and cookies at the end…what a TREAT! Will definitely be back.

The host was so nice and kind when I asked questions! Treats were available which Duke loved!! This place is a dogs paradise, Duke and Brady had absolutely the best time ever. The trails were so nice and clean, benches throughout, just loved everything about this place!! Both boys were snoring the whole car ride back! Can’t wait to come back!! 🥰

Soba and I loved this spot! We drove up on the main road, almost missed the turn off for the side road because the side road is gravel and thought it was a driveway! The gravel road takes you up through the gate and there seems to be plenty of parking in the turnaround driveway. Beyond the drive is a massive open field! It’s a fetch paradise! There were no signs of other dogs at all and overall very peaceful and quiet. There were chairs for relaxing and the while space is nicely mowed with trees for shade. Soba has a great time exploring and I had a great time relaxing!

This was a great spot! Plenty of room to run and sniff. The best part was the host had a boom box out in the middle playing music, it was a bonus. Our pups had a great time. Their were no dogs or people.

Absolutely loved it! Loved the drive out and the area was huge. So much for the pups to do! They loved having acres to get their initial zoomies out of the way, and then tons of area to play with our flirt pole and play fetch. Our terrier loved chasing birds into the trees and snooping in all the ferns. It was a great spot. We can't wait until our next visit!!!
