Close to DTLA, Hollywood, etc. Large backyard area with astroturf grass, area with mulch dirt, etc. There’s 3 levels so it’s a great place for dogs to run and jump around. Plenty of shade from trees and lounge chair seating for the pup’s humans. Please keep in mind: there are a number of stairs to get to the backyard area (see pictures!). The backyard also has levels that are not fenced and there are different types of terrain in the spot (astroturf, rocks, dirt, etc).

Home Run Dog Park at Rynerson Park in Lakewood, California is a fully fenced dog park open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. from March to October and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from November to February. Dog owners must follow strict rules such as keeping their dog on leash until inside the gated area, cleaning up after their pets, and ensuring their dogs are healthy, vaccinated, and licensed. The park has designated small and large dog areas, dog drinking water, and restricts children under 16 from entering without an adult. Violating the rules could result in expulsion from the park.

Park hours: March - October: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. November - February: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. closes on Monday morning for routine maintenance.
