55This is such a special spot. The woods are so lush and shelter you from the summer heat. The host has added bathrooms, garbage cans, coffee and bottled water. Miles of wooded trails. This is what dogs dream about!Dee J.

55Great property! The dogs had a blast and my husband and I loved looking at all the sculptures along the trails. I could definitely tell the owners put a lot of time and effort on the trails/property. We’ll definitely be back! Bella T.

55This Woods Walk is incredible and I highly recommend the space! Our two dogs enjoyed every minute of our outing, from the wooded trails to the open clearing where they could run in circles and catch a Frisbee. As for me, I appreciated being able to drink a hot cup of lemon ginger tea while I watched them play! The honor bar is a very nice touch! Also, Don's Woods was a great way to introduce our young pup to the concept of "statues." He didn't understand them at first, but was able to bark ferociously, tentatively approach, and get the fear out of his system without disturbing anybody 😊Mckenzie F.

55My dog had such a great time yesterday that I came back with another dog! Harold was great, I got there later than I was hoping and he was super accommodating and responsive. This spot is over an hour from my home and well worth the drive for my dogs to have so much freedomIzabelle W.

55This sniffspot was even better then I remember 2 years ago. The only reason I hadn’t been back was because I lived too far south, but that has since changed. There have been more added interesting characters and scenes to check out, added fencing, and the trails were nice and clean. I felt it was safe enough to let my dog off lease the entire time this time around. It would be an excellent place to play the hide and seek game with your dog, or for 2 dogs to play chase. Thanks for all the work and effort put into it! Lisa H.

55A great stop for both human and pup. Engaging snd entertaining to both species this space was a perfect hour spent. My only concern with the space was the true “fully fenced” // “privacy” of it all. While I felt it was a completely safe place to hike my dog, I did, indeed, feel the need to tail after him closely as to not allow him to access the “no dogs beyond this point” or “private” areas. I just wish these boundaries were blocked off with a gate rather than a rope to allow me a smidge more relaxation with my pup being off leash. An amazing place to be nonetheless. I cannot wait to come back!!Maddie G.

55This is such a great spot! My dog and I had so much fun running around on the maze of trails. And the shade made it a great choice for a warm day. The neighbor's horses were grazing near the parking area, but the fence was secure enough to keep my very curious dog away from them. I'd highly recommend visiting this spot.Sara E.

55We love this spot! Important to note though that we've been coming here for at least a year. The last couple visits there have been horses and donkeys, right at the parking area next to our car. This has never happened until last week and we come weekly with our membership. You can't really avoid going by them. We're at a point in our training where we can work with this but if your pup is livestock reactive this might not be the spot for you! Karli L.

55A delightful walk through a cool, shady enchanted forest! This was a lot of fun to explore with well maintained paths and so many cute landmarks and fun accents to spot along the way — this walk would be a blast for kids as well as dogs. There is also a small open area (with a refreshment stand!) that was perfect for tossing the ball and playing games. Our dog Otis had an amazing time and got to meet his first donkey through the fence. We will definitely be back!Clinton M.

FAQ about our Coupeville dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
